What Is an Authorized User Administrator?

An authorized user is a court reporter who can charge signatures to your account. An authorized user is enrolled in the RealLegal Signature Service, can login, and has a billing account separate from yours that he or she can manage.

Additionally, the authorized user's billing account page includes information that indicates the court reporter is a "shared" user of your billing account.  That is all the information provided. The user cannot see your billing account or purchase signatures for your account. Click the following link to see how such an account looks on the site: Show me a graphic.

Definition of an Authorized User Administrator

Conversely, an authorized user administrator can, not only see that the account is shared, but also review the billing and add signature information, purchase more signatures, and delete other authorized users.

Note about the Purchasing Signatures option: If you are subscribed to the Unlimited Workflow or Unlimited Multimedia plan (that is, you pay a monthly fee for RealLegal products and services), you do not need to purchase signatures. RealLegal provides them as part of your subscription. If you need more signatures, contact reallegalsubscriptions@thomsonreuters.com.

Court reporters, if you use Reporter Edition, your production department may be able to provide you with signatures.
